Position Overview
The Nord-Aski Family Health Team is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization in delivering high-quality primary healthcare services. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide leadership in strategic planning, operations management, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight to ensure the continued growth and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan in the alignment with healthcare policies and community needs.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality improvement, and patient-centered service delivery.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, funding and financial sustainability while ensuring accountability and effective resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationship with government agencies, healthcare partners, community organizations, and the Board of Directors.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, support and develop a multidisciplinary team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, funding agreements, and best practices in primary care.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in a relevant health discipline, in public or business administration, or in a related field. A master's degree is considered an important asset.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible senior management experience.
- Knowledge and experience in organizational administration and services provided by Family Health Teams in Ontario. (an asset)
- Knowledge in the delivery of primary health care services, provincial health policy and the continuum of community resources and support services available to patients within the Hearst catchment area (an asset).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages.
- Advanced proficiency with the computer software found in the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Autonomy, interpersonal skills, trust, respect, discretion and confidentiality.
