This Cook Assistant will come in when the regular Cook Assistant is away. The Cook Assistant will assist with the morning breakfast, snack, and hot lunch meal for approximately 150 students. The work hours are from 7:30am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Culinary Diploma from the Ontario of Applied Arts and Technology is an asset
• Food Handling Safety Course Certification
• Must have good communication skills
• Must submit a Criminal Reference Check
• Will be subject to undergo a Drug and/or Alcohol test.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate well with the School Cook and the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator
Assist with the preparation of the morning breakfast, snack, and hot lunches.
Clean and sanitize workstation daily.
Other duties or responsibilities may apply as required by administration.
